Since adopting the internationally-recognised Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework in 2009, progressive improvements have been made to reporting standards and the level of disclosure each year. From a GRI Level C in SR2008, the level of disclosure was raised to GRI Level B+ in SR2009, which also included external assurance by an independent third party.
The assurance level was raised in SR2010, to be in accordance with the globally-accepted AA1000 Assurance Standard, where the Company's systems and processes were evaluated based on the principles of inclusivity, materiality and responsiveness. The GRI Construction and Real Estate Sector Supplement was adopted upon its release, for Keppel Land's SR2011.
Keppel Land's seventh and current SR2014 is prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) new G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines at the Comprehensive Level. The Report also take into account additional disclosure requirements from the GRI G4 Construction and Real Estate Supplement, which covers key aspects of sustainability performance that are meaningful and relevant to the sector.
